August '11 Colorado Road Trip
The plan is to have two Colorado road trips this year. One in August, for exploration..
One in October, to capture the colors of Fall. I'm working on August, right now.
We'll see what happens to October's trip when October gets here. :)

Day 2 : Hermit Pass
I had read quite a few things, saying Hermit Pass was in the high end of easy.
I guess, truth be told, it was.. It was just higher on that scale than I expected.
9 miles up. 9 miles down. Well over 5 hours... Not what I'd call a relaxing drive.
But, I did it!
This isn't another one to add to the "yeah, I started it, but didn't finish it" list. :)

Day 6 : Black Bear Road
En route to Durango, I saw the cut-off for Black Bear Road.&nsbp; So, I took it and
drove up there as far as seemed reasonable. Heck, I pretty much drove to the first
good place to turn around that had a great view. :)
