His mom, Starr, had recently been killed.
05/21/05: I was trying to not use flash ... and I had left my tripod at Paula & Kirk's place.
So, there was a lot of "prop this up on a beer bottle and snap" shots taken. Some came out ok. Most didn't.
I liked how the lady's face is stopped, but not much else is.
