05/16/05: "What? You act like you've never seen a moose before!"

05/16/05: I thought it was a cool pic, of the clouds mostly-masking out the mountain. Kinda eerie, too.

05/16/05: When the sign pointed the way to Cottonwood Creek, I didn't think it meant through the creek!

05/16/05: Since I was here, I decided to hand-hold an open exposure on the cascade.

05/16/05: When I get back, if I say anything about "big pot holes," this type of thing is what I'm talkin' about!

05/16/05: This seemed like a good place to pull off for a while and eat some lunch. (Sure glad I brought a cooler!)

05/16/05: Another somewhat eerie looking shot. I liked how the clouds / fog masked-out part of the mountain, but not all of it.

05/16/05: "Singing a song, as we go along, walkin' in a winter wonderland...!"

05/16/05: Another frozen lake!!

05/16/05: Taken at West Thumb, in Yellowstone.
I couldn't believe how they just didn't care that people were walking around them.

05/16/05: The next several were all taken at West Thumb. I realllly wish the sun had come out for a while.
These pictures do not do the subjects justice...!

05/16/05: Better than the other one, but I know it would've come out a lot better, had there been some sunshine.

05/16/05: If only there had been some sunshine...

05/16/05: Blue Funnel Spring

05/16/05: I think they called this one Black Pool.

05/16/05: I just can't get over how clear the water is!

05/16/05: The sun was trying to peek out here. It helped some...

05/16/05: Still in West Thumb. The whole time I was there, it was drizzling rain.

05/16/05: A little help from the sun (and a polarizing filter).

05/16/05: I'll try back in a day or two.
They're forecasting partly cloudy (which implies mostly sunny, to me), a couple of days from now.

05/16/05: A waterfall, in between West Thumb and Old Faithful.
I'll have to look-up the name and update this, later.

05/16/05: Old Faithful. "I bet there's gonna be an eruption here soon!"

05/16/05: "I was right!"

05/16/05: "Thar she blows!!!"

05/16/05: I couldn't help thinking, "If only I had some blue sky behind that...!"
It was still spectacular, nonetheless.

05/16/05: This is the first herd of Buffalo / Bison I've seen with calves in-tow.

05/16/05: "This is my grass!"
"I'm bigger than you! It's my grass!!"

05/16/05: Another one I'll have to look-up.

05/16/05: A little down stream from the one above.

05/16/05: *tap tap* "Wha?!"

05/16/05: "Oh! It's you!"

05/16/05: Another waterfall. (Yes, I have a thing for waterfalls and doing open exposures on them.)

05/16/05: A warning sign for all of those about to get married!

05/16/05: Another one I can't seem to remember the name of, right now.
I really should take pictures of the names of these things, too...!

05/16/05: Same shot, except with an open exposure, to get the effect of the steam blowing away, etc...

05/16/05: This was taken down-stream from The Lower Falls in The Grand Canyon of The Yellowstone.

05/16/05: ...and this is The Lower Falls...!

05/16/05: Another frozen lake!! I'm sure glad I didn't want to go boating, up here!

05/16/05: Need I say it? Another waterfall.

05/16/05: "Can it be?! The sun is coming out?!"

05/16/05: "ahhh... No! No sun for you!"

05/16/05: Back at the cabin. Just a little bit of sunshine before sunset.

05/16/05: I was trying to catch the reflection of the Mt. Moran in Jackson Lake.
Not too bad, if I say so myself.
