Road Trip '04 : Grand Canyon
Day 8 (11/20/04) : Colorado and New Mexico (color)
This is the exact same set of pictures that is on "Day 8 : black & white." I just posted them in color. There were a couple of pictures that really stood-out to be as needing to be in color.

At Paula & Kirk's place.
When I got here, the day before, there wasn't even a hint of snow, anywhere.
Paula says she wished for it, the night before, so I couldn't leave.

"On the road again!" -- Somewhere in Colorado.
Maybe it was because of the blue sky peeking through, but this was one of the ones I really liked in color.

Cold, but the roads were (mainly just) wet.

To me, this one just has more life than its black & white counterpart.

The roads are getting less friendly.
I'm glad the roads & weather didn't get any worse...

Somewhere in New Mexico. Clear (or at least mostly clear) skies.
This is another one that just seemed more alive (to me, at least) in color.

I liked this stretch of road. There was a nice contrast of the sunlight off the baren trees.
Yeah -- check out the storm clouds, in the background.

Almost out of the woods...! After this, I put the camera away.
I also got very focused on "at least getting into Texas, before I went to bed!"
