Road Trip '04 : Grand Canyon
Day 8 (11/20/04) : Colorado and New Mexico (black & white)
Pleaes do not adjust your monitor. You're not seeing things. Yes, all the other days were posted in color. With all the snow on the gound and a suggestion or two from friends, I decided to poste this day's photos in black & white. There is a separate gallery (Day 8 Color) that has these same photos in color. I just thought it'd be an interesting change and diversion, especially after a few "this color would look great in black & white" comments, from friends.

At Paula & Kirk's place.
When I got here, the day before, there wasn't even a hint of snow, anywhere.
Paula says she wished for it, the night before, so I couldn't leave.

Snow...
...snow...
...and more snow.
"On the road again!" -- Somewhere in Colorado.
Cold, but the roads were (mainly just) wet.
Looks like another storm may be moving in...
Yeah -- I'd say another storm is moving in...
Greeeeat... rain, sleet, and snow...
The roads are getting less friendly.
...as I said... "getting less friendly"
Getting closer to New Mexico, though.
"I should be out of this soon!"
Sunshine! Blue skies! Woohoo!!
Somewhere in New Mexico. Clear (or at least mostly clear) skies.
Why, oh, why, can't I get away from preciptation!?
I liked this stretch of road. There was a nice contrast of the sunlight off the baren trees.
Yeah -- check out the storm clouds, in the background.
Almost out of the woods...! After this, I put the camera away.
I also got very focused on "at least getting into Texas, before I went to bed!"
