Road Trip '04 : Grand Canyon

Day 4 (11/16/04) : A San Diego morning and a Las Vegas night

If I didn't have reservations at the Grand Canyon in two days, I might've been tempted to make a run up the coast for a couple of days and then cut back across. As it was, I had to start heading back towards AZ...

This was taken, shortly after sunrise, right out the front door of where I stayed.

This is not too far from where I took the 'moonlit' pictures, the night before.

I wish I could've zoomed-in better. I like this shot. It's just not 'close' enough.

This thing didn't seem to give a flip that I was there, what I was doing, or anything else. I like how the bird is sharp, but not much else is.

Heading into Nevada. I just couldn't help myself. I had to stop for the sunset.

Trying to capture the sunset int he hood of the car. This didn't turn out quite as good as I would've liked.

Another hand-held shot. This one's more obvious, though, with the blur of Treasure Island's sign. Regardless, I still liked the way the fountain came out and decided to share this shot anyway.
