Saginaw Airport Tear-down

WW2-era Saginaw Airport being torn-down

I recently became aware of the history of the Saginaw Airport.  Shortly after learning that history, I noticed that what was left of it was being torn down.  So, when the weather cleared, I went back and took some pictures.

The one remaining hangar on the west side of where the runway once was.
You can faintly make out the outline of where the paved runway ran through the field.

Where the asphalt once was seems to have stunted the growth of the grass.
It's almost like someone came in and mowed the old runway area.
